The Shape of a Céile Dé Teaching Retreat
We aim to hold silence at all times outside of teaching sessions.
Céile Dé annual residential teaching retreats are intensive, deliberately so, in order to create conditions that people are generally unable to manifest by themselves at home and in their everyday lives. They also give people who are following the tradition an opportunity to receive sufficient material to work with until their next annual teaching retreat.
Our annual gathering is a ‘Teaching Retreat’ because it is residential, the teaching sessions are supported by frequent contemplative practices, and a peaceful silence is held at all times between teaching sessions in order to aid absorption of the powerful energies transmitted during teachings and practices. You can read more about the culture of silence at our teaching retreats HERE.
St Columba's Retreat House: St Columba's Retreat House, 12835 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Inverness, CA 94937, is a contemplative ecumenical retreat center administered by St Columba's Episcopal Church, which is in the same building. Most rooms are shared. To get a sense of this unique facility and information about its location, etc., visit http://www.stcolumbasinverness.org.
Ongoing Community: Newcomers will have the opportunity to consider further, ongoing teachings and practices within groups that offer a powerful container for those who seek a path that invites commitment and openness to real inner change.
Registration & Payment Information
Because space is limited, registration is currently open only to members of the Céile Dé caim; please get the necessary registration code from your rianaire.
Registration for others will commence once we know that space is available, probably in mid-summer. In the meantime, non-caim members can ask to be put on the waiting list by sending an email to email@example.com.
St Columba's is a former residence with a unique collection of rooms with different configurations. Accordingly, the registration form asks for information to help us prioritize room assignments according to health need. Please be as specific as you feel you need to be; this information will be kept confidential.
